Danish-style wire head Wooden handle Mix by hand One whisk included

SMALL TOOL. LOVELY ROUTINE.

More making. Less fuss.

You don't need to bring out a mixer to bring a bowl of ingredients together. Sunday keeps the first step of homemade baking wonderfully simple.

01

Make room for thicker mixtures

The open steel loops move through flour, water and thicker batter as you stir. Use it to bring ingredients together before the next step in your recipe.

02

Keep the making in your hands

Hold the wooden handle, steady your bowl and mix at your own pace. There are no switches, cords or settings to work around.

03

Keep one useful tool close by

From a shaggy bread dough to pancake batter, the Danish-style head gives your baking drawer a simple alternative to a spoon or balloon whisk.

AT THE KITCHEN TABLE

A bowl. A recipe. A little time together.

Flour on the table. A favourite bowl. Someone asking what's for breakfast. Homemade doesn't have to be a grand project to feel like a good part of the day.

Sunday belongs in that moment. Add your ingredients, take the wooden handle and stir them into one mixture. The recipe takes it from there.

THE USEFUL LITTLE DETAILS

Nothing complicated. Just thoughtfully shaped.

Close-up of Sunday's single-loop steel whisk head and metal collar joining the wooden handleOpen wire loops. A wooden handle. Ready to stir.

An open wire head

The broad loop and smaller inner loop move through the mixture as you stir, rather than gathering it inside a cage of fine wires.

A natural wooden handle

The long, gently tapered handle keeps your hand above the bowl and brings a familiar wooden utensil feel to the routine.

A manual mixing tool

Use it for the mixing stage of bread and pizza dough, or for thicker batters. Knead, rest or cook according to your recipe afterward.

Exactly one useful whisk

You'll receive the long-handle, single-loop version pictured. Kitchenware and ingredients in our photographs are styling props.

YOUR THREE-STEP ROUTINE

From flour to something good.

Follow your recipe's ingredient order and quantities. Sunday helps with the mixing; your recipe guides what happens next.

  1. Dough whisk beside a mixing bowl and baking ingredients on a wooden table01

    Set up your bowl

Choose a stable bowl with room to stir. Add the dry and wet ingredients as your recipe directs, and keep the bowl steady with your other hand.

  2. A hand guiding the exact single-loop dough whisk through shaggy dough inside a ceramic bowl02

    Stir through the mixture

Hold the wooden handle and move the wire head through the ingredients, including around the sides and bottom, until the flour is incorporated.

  3. Detailed view of the open wire head and wooden handle of the Sunday dough whisk03

    Follow your recipe, then rinse

Continue with kneading, resting or cooking as needed. Wash the whisk promptly by hand and dry both the steel head and wooden handle thoroughly.

Sunday mixes ingredients; it does not replace kneading. Avoid soaking the wood, dishwashers and forcing the head through very stiff finished dough.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you put the kettle on.

A few practical details for your baking drawer. Our Contact page is here if you'd like a hand.

Ask us anything
What can I mix with it?

Use Sunday to combine ingredients for bread or pizza dough, pancake batter and other thicker mixtures. Follow your recipe, and use another tool if a mixture is too stiff to stir comfortably.

Does it knead dough for me?

No. It is a hand mixing tool for bringing ingredients together. Any kneading, folding or resting your recipe calls for still comes afterward.

Which version will I receive?

One long wooden-handle whisk with the single-loop steel head shown in our photographs. It is approximately 33 cm long. Natural wood grain and colour may vary.

Are the bowl and other baking tools included?

No. The package contains one dough whisk. Bowls, ingredients, linen and other props in the photographs are not included.

How should I clean it?

Hand wash promptly with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry thoroughly. Don't leave the wooden handle soaking or put it in a dishwasher.

How much is shipping?

Your available shipping option and total are shown at checkout before you pay.
