A flexible mesh to guide
Linked rings move together as the mesh meets the pan. Light, controlled handling keeps the cleaning in your hands.
FOR THE PAN THAT MAKES SUPPER
Hearth Chainmail Pan Cleaner
A compact square of flexible linked metal rings for hand-guided care of suitable uncoated cast iron. Hearth gives that familiar pan-cleaning task a distinct tool, with a corner loop for hanging afterward.
A DIFFERENT SHAPE FOR PAN CARE
Cast iron has its own care routine. Choose a cleaning method your pan maker permits, then guide this flexible metal mesh by hand.

Keep Hearth for suitable uncoated cast iron. It is a different tool from a soft cloth and should not be carried over to delicate coatings.
Rinse residue from the linked rings, dry thoroughly and return the mesh to its hanging place by the corner ring.
A distinct little tool for an appropriate cast-iron routine.THE PAN AFTER THE MEAL
A favourite cast-iron pan often has a place in the weekly rhythm: vegetables on the stove, a loaf beside the meal, and the simple care afterward.
Hearth joins that last moment. Follow your pan maker’s guidance, work the flexible mesh gently on an appropriate surface, and leave the pan ready for its next recipe.

This is the selected Square-4in variant, shown approximately 10.2 centimetres across in the supplier reference.

YOUR THREE-STEP ROUTINE
Let the pan cool and follow its own cleaning instructions before choosing chainmail.
01Use suitable uncoated cast iron and confirm the maker permits linked-metal cleaning. Let the pan cool before handling.
02Keep a secure hold on the mesh and make light manual passes on the appropriate pan surface. Do not force the rings against a coating.
03Remove trapped residue from the mesh, dry it thoroughly and hang or store it dry. Complete the pan’s own drying and care routine separately.
Cleaning is illustrated, not a measured result. We do not promise preservation of seasoning, removal of every residue or compatibility with coated cookware.
